Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Night shift: 3x12 Hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30).

Job Description

The Emergency Department Registered Nurse provides care for patients in a fast-paced and challenging environment. Responsibilities include assessing patients, delivering care, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and develop care plans for emergency patients.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report changes in condition.
• Perform EKGs and assess arrhythmias.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding care and treatment options.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department.
• Current RN license.
• ACLS, BLS, NIH required; CPI, PALS, TNCC preferred.
• EPIC charting experience required.
• Previous Charge RN and Level 2 Trauma experience preferred.
