6:45 AM - 7:15 PM, 36 hours/week, alternating weekends, 12 hour shifts

Job Description

Join a dedicated team in a 16-bed Critical Care Unit with a focus on providing exceptional care for critically ill patients. Our ICU requires skilled RNs with expertise in advanced patient care procedures and familiarity with complex equipment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions, providing critical care and intervention.
• Administer medications, including vesicant medications and sedation, while titrating as necessitated by patient condition.
• Manage ventilator support for patients with respiratory failure.
• Maintain telemetry for ongoing cardiac monitoring and interpretation.
• Perform advanced procedures such as central line insertion, bronchoscopy, and chest tube insertions.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ICU experience is required.
• Familiarity with IABP, Impella, and CRRT preferred.
• Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
• Advanced knowledge in hemodynamics and cardiac monitoring.
