Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Unit - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift - Scheduled 36 hours per week following the first full week of orientation. Candidates must be flexible with various shift lengths and days.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will deliver patient-centered care in a Medical Unit, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. RNs will be responsible for utilizing various medical equipment and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to provide optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Utilize Meditech EMR, pyxis, wound vac, and chest tubes as required.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies regarding vaccinations and health clearance.
• Provide education and support to patients and families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2-10 years of nursing experience required.
• Active Hawaii RN License is required by the start of the assignment.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
