Registered Nurse - Med/Surg

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Variable shift schedule with 36 hours per week following the first full week of orientation. Flexibility in shift lengths and days is required. No guarantee of hours or shift preference.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide med/surg level care for patients aged 18 and over. The role may require floating to surgical pediatric or transitional care units.

Responsibilities

• Delivering med/surg level care to adult patients.
• Monitoring patient conditions and administering medications.
• Utilizing equipment like Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound vac, and chest tubes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in med/surg or higher level of care is required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification is preferred.
• A valid Hawaii RN license is required by the start of the assignment.
