12-hour night shifts, from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, with variable scheduling.

Job Description

The Acute Surgery Unit is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for our Med Surg specialty. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in an acute care surgical setting and will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Acute Surgery Unit.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Conduct patient assessments and develop nursing care plans.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the best patient outcomes.
• Monitor vital signs and assist patients with activities of daily living.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a Med Surg acute care setting.
• Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Certification.
• Valid RN license.
