Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. One shorter day per week (6 hours) to maintain a 40-hour work week.

Job Description

My Surgical Associates Department is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join our Clinical Team in the General Surgery department. The RN will provide professional nursing care to patients, assist providers, and actively participate as a member of the healthcare team, engaging patients, families, and caregivers in care coordination.

Responsibilities

• Rooming patients and triaging new patients, gathering necessary reports.
• Triaging pre and post-operative patients over the phone.
• Providing wound support including suture removal and dressing changes as ordered.
• Completing FMLA, Disability, and other necessary paperwork for patients.
• Assisting in office procedures and addressing clinically related issues at the front desk.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.
• Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, renewed every two years.
