Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM, Monday - Friday with on-call requirements.

Job Description

The cardiovascular pre-operative unit is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care for patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. You will be responsible for prepping patients for surgery, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient vital signs and implement patient care plans.
• Assist with procedures including large-bore IV starts, hair removal, medication administration, and skin assessments.
• Transport patients to the operating room and assist with induction/intubation and positioning.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members to enhance patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in North Carolina.
• ACLS and BLS certification required.
• Critical Care experience is a must; PreOp experience is a plus.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills are essential.
