Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our team. The position involves managing a caseload of 10-12 patients per day, primarily consisting of follow-up appointments, with 1-3 evaluations scheduled daily. Appointments typically vary in duration from 30 to 45 minutes. The patient demographic includes ortho, neuro, and geriatric populations. Spanish-speaking candidates are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide outpatient physical therapy interventions in a clinical setting.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment goals and home exercise programs.
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Utilize appropriate therapy techniques for various conditions including post-operative orthopedic repairs, neurological disorders, and general deconditioning.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current and valid Physical Therapist license in California.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in outpatient physical therapy.
• Experience using Epic charting system is preferred.
• Ability to float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals as needed.
