Schedule

3x12 hour shifts, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with holiday rotation.

Job Description

The Pediatric X-Ray Technician will perform imaging procedures on children across various pediatric departments, ensuring high-quality images are delivered for diagnostic purposes. Responsibilities include patient care, preparation for procedures, and ensuring the safety and comfort of young patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging on pediatric patients.
• Manage patient care and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Ensure operational safety and compliance with radiation safety standards.
• Prepare patients and equipment for imaging procedures.
• Assist in critical staffing coverage by floating to other pediatric imaging locations as needed.
• Participate in on-call rotation, responding to calls within an hour.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of dedicated pediatric imaging experience.
• ARRT Certification (R) and BLS certification required.
• A valid South Carolina license is required prior to starting.
• Experience with C-arm and portable X-ray procedures is preferred; training available for O-arm.
