3x12 Hour Shifts: Friday, Saturday & Sunday, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM with weekend and holiday on-call rotation.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled X-Ray Technician specializing in pediatrics. The technician will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures and collaborating effectively within a pediatric healthcare environment. The position requires critical thinking and adaptive skills, particularly when floating to other pediatric imaging locations as needed for staffing coverage.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic imaging for pediatric patients, ensuring accuracy and patient safety.
• Assist in C-arm procedures and portable imaging as required.
• Administer and prepare contrast media for specific imaging procedures.
• Participate in the on-call rotation, responding to calls within an hour.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain radiation safety protocols and monitor equipment performance.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of dedicated pediatric experience.
• ARRT (R) and BLS certification required; SCRQSA (R) is accepted.
• Experience in operating C-arms is necessary; O-arm experience is preferred but will be trained.
• Must possess a South Carolina license before starting; pending applications accepted.
• Experience in trauma settings is preferred.
