Schedule

Nights - 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. Options for 36 or 48 hours per week, including 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit with 40 beds. Responsibilities include patient assessment, medication administration, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions, documenting vital signs and changes.
• Administer medications and treatment as prescribed.
• Coordinate with healthcare providers to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding health management and care options.
• Float to other units as necessary and take charge when required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1 year of recent experience in acute Med/Surg/Telemetry nursing.
• 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.
• Active New York RN license.
• AHA BLS certification.
