CT Technologist Position

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule / Shift

Mid shift, 5 days a week (15:00 - 23:30), weekend rotations required.

Job Description

The CT Technologist will perform imaging procedures in an acute care hospital setting. This includes operating CT machines, ensuring patient safety, and providing high-quality imaging for diagnostic purposes.

Responsibilities

• Administer contrast media and perform CT imaging procedures on patients of all age groups, including neonates, infants, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care and safety.
• Maintain patient records and imaging documentation using the Epic charting system.
• Participate in departmental quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
• Provide education and support to patients regarding procedures and care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist.
• ARRT certification in Radiography (ARRT R).
• Current BLS certification.
• Venipuncture certification required.
• Fluoroscopy permit preferred.
