Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Floater

Schedule

This position offers a shift from 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM, with additional hours from 7 PM to 7:30 AM on a rotation basis. The RN will also work every other holiday.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing fundamental nursing care across multiple medical-surgical floors, including but not limited to Orthopedics, Neurology Step Down, Oncology, Surgical Telemetry, and Med-Surg Tele. The RN must be willing to float to various departments and the WestLakes Campus (approximately 9.5 miles from downtown).

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in various medical-surgical departments.
• Assist in treatment plans and patient assessments.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and perform necessary medical procedures.
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes in condition to the healthcare team.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license required.
• Must be willing to float to all med-surg floors as required.
• Completion of pre-employment health screenings and compliance with vaccination requirements.
