Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist with expertise in PET and general nuclear medicine (excluding cardiac). The candidate will operate Siemens PET CT, Siemens, and Phillips nuclear medicine cameras while ensuring high standards of patient care and safety. This role includes rotation weeks of on-call duties for emergency cases.

Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine procedures, including SPECT and nuclear cardiology studies.
• Calibrate and operate imaging equipment, ensuring accuracy and safety.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals and monitor patient reactions.
• Ensure proper handling and disposal of radioactive materials.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient care and treatment planning.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year experience in nuclear medicine.
• Current NMTCB and BLS certifications are mandatory.
• A valid state license for nuclear medicine technology is required.
• Familiarity with imaging systems, preferably GE gamma cameras.
