Registered Nurse - Cath Lab Recovery

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day Shift: 3x12-Hour shifts from 06:45 AM to 07:15 PM. No weekends or call required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Cath Lab Recovery team. The ideal candidate will have critical care experience and be familiar with cath lab recovery, including groin site management. Responsibilities include monitoring patients recovering from general anesthesia to moderate sedation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the recovery of patients post-cardiac catheterization and other interventional procedures.
• Manage groin site post-procedure and monitor vital signs.
• Administer medications as prescribed and provide procedural sedation monitoring.
• Ensure infection prevention and safety protocols are followed at all times.
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding recovery and care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of charge experience in a Cath Lab or similar setting.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Valid RN license in Oklahoma or Compact state is required at the time of submission.
• Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
