Travel Registered Nurse - Operating Room Circulator

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Days - 4 10-hour shifts: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM with on-call requirements.

Job Description

The Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room will demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for patient care in the operating room. As a member of the surgical team, the RN will collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other personnel to ensure optimal patient care according to regulatory standards and hospital procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the availability of supplies and timeliness of surgical cases.
• Communicate effectively with families and update physician preference cards.
• Assist physicians during surgical procedures.
• Supervise personnel delivering patient care in the operating room.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2+ years of experience as an Operating Room Circulator.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications (AHA or American Red Cross).
• Experience with robotic surgical systems is preferred.
