Travel Registered Nurse - Operating Room Circulator

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Days (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM) with call. Exact shift times and days of the week may vary based on patient volume.

Job Description

The Operating Room Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for patient care in the operating room. As a member of the surgical team, the RN works alongside surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other personnel to provide exceptional patient care in adherence to the State Nurse Practice Act, AORN, and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely supply availability and case management
• Communicate effectively with patient families
• Update physician preference cards
• Scrub and assist physicians during surgical cases
• Supervising personnel delivering patient care

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with strengths in Ortho, Neuro, Robotics, ENT, General Surgery, and Urology
• Cerner experience required
• CNOR preferred
