Certified Sterile Processing Technician

Day Shift: 4x10 Hours (07:00 - 17:00)

Job Description

The Certified Sterile Processing Technician will be responsible for endoscope reprocessing, general decontamination, and sterile processing. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in sterile processing and must be certified.

Responsibilities

• Reprocess and sterilize surgical instruments and endoscopes.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the sterile processing department.
• Ensure adherence to protocols for cleaning and sterilization.
• Assist with the assembly and distribution of sterile instrument trays.
• Document all processing activities accurately to comply with standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in sterile processing.
• Certified in sterile processing (BLS, CBSPD, IAHCSMM/HSP).
• Familiarity with Epic charting system is required.
