Inpatient Rehabilitation Therapist

This position offers a 12-hour shift from 07:00 to 19:00.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Inpatient Rehabilitation Therapist to provide comprehensive care and specialized treatment to patients recovering from severe injuries or illnesses, including but not limited to stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injuries. The ideal candidate will offer customized and intense rehabilitation programs tailored to the individual needs of each patient throughout their recovery journey.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patients’ unique recovery needs.
• Monitor and assess patients' progress through ongoing evaluations and adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to maximize patient recovery and quality of life.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation processes and recovery expectations.
• Document patient care and progress accurately in compliance with policies and regulations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current licensure in the relevant therapy field (e.g., physical therapy, occupational therapy).
• Previous experience in an inpatient rehabilitation setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work as part of a collaborative team.
