Cath Lab Technologist - 13 Week Contract

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM with call requirements of 10-12 days per month.

Job Description

The Cath Lab Technologist will work within the Cath Lab unit, providing care and conducting various procedures related to cardiovascular health. The primary focus will be on cardiac catheterizations, PCI, peripheral procedures, as well as pacemaker and defibrillator implants.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac catheterizations and related invasive procedures.
• Assist in the preparation and recovery of patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures.
• Collaborate with the medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Participate in call duties as per the required schedule.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification - must have.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification - must have.
• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification - preferred.
• Experience as a CV Technologist is desirable.
