Contract RN - Labor and Delivery/OB ED

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Nights and days with rotating weekends, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled RN for our Labor and Delivery/OB ED unit. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care in a high-volume Level IV unit, ensuring positive outcomes for mothers and newborns.

Responsibilities

• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs.
• Assist with C-Sections, labor management, and various obstetric procedures.
• Ensure adherence to unit policies and protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide optimal patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about labor and delivery processes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid RN license.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE.
• Intermediate fetal monitoring skills.
• 2+ years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Competency in C-Section circulation and SVE is mandatory.
