Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, 36 hours/week with alternating weekends

Job Description

The Intensive Care Unit (CICU) is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent critical care skills and experience in managing complex patients in an ICU setting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions in a critical care environment.
• Administer medications and therapies as prescribed, including vesicant medications, sedatives, and pressors.
• Manage patients on ventilators and utilize telemetry to interpret cardiac rhythms.
• Implement advanced procedures such as central line placement, cardioversion, and chest tube insertions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license.
• ICU experience required.
• CCRN certification, ACLS, and BLS certifications are preferred.
• Experience with IABP, Impella, and CRRT is appreciated.
• Strong skills in hemodynamic monitoring and PA catheter interpretation.
