Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our CVICU unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients undergoing cardiac surgeries, managing complex diagnoses, and utilizing advanced equipment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using Cerner EHR.
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1.5 years of experience in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required; CCRN preferred.
• Associate Nursing Degree required.
