Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for providing treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory diseases. This role involves utilizing advanced technologies and medication delivery systems in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment, focusing particularly on the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).

Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory therapy and treatment in the NICU/PICU setting.
• Utilize equipment such as High Flow Devices, continuous nebulizers, and Nitric Oxide.
• Administer and manage therapies including BIPAP and CPT.
• Document patient care using Meditech.
• Collaborate with a healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications.
• 2 years of current acute care hospital Respiratory Therapist experience required.
• Preferred: Previous experience with Meditech.
• Current NICU/PICU experience is required.
