Laboratory Supervisor

Job Description

Under the direction of the Laboratory Manager and Laboratory Medical Director, the Laboratory Supervisor oversees the day-to-day operations of laboratory personnel engaged in performing chemical, microscopic, and bacteriologic tests. The role ensures adherence to quality control protocols, assists in maintaining laboratory equipment, and supports the Manager in overseeing staffing, training, and compliance with state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily laboratory operations and personnel.
• Ensure adherence to quality control protocols.
• Assist in maintaining laboratory equipment.
• Support the laboratory manager in staffing and training activities.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal laboratory regulations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have BLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Minimum of a high school diploma.
• Graduated from a MT or CLS training program approved or accredited by ABHES, CAHEA, or other organizations approved by HHS.
• Must have ASCP certification.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent laboratory supervisor experience.

Schedule

Shifts will be Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM. Candidates will be responsible for covering both the Lander & Riverton campuses.
