Job Description

Under the direction of the Laboratory Manager and Laboratory Medical Director, the Laboratory Supervisor oversees the day-to-day operations of laboratory personnel engaged in performing chemical, microscopic, and bacteriologic tests. The role ensures adherence to quality control protocols, assists in maintaining laboratory equipment, and supports the Manager in overseeing staffing, training, and compliance with state and federal regulations.

• Support the Laboratory Manager in staffing and training
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• BLS certification (must be attached to submission)
• Minimum of a High School diploma
• Graduation from an MT or CLS training program approved or accredited by ABHES, CAHEA, or other organization approved by HHS
• ASCP certification (must be attached to submission)
• 3 years of recent laboratory supervisor experience
