Days: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, with alternating weekends.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients in an acute care hospital setting. Your primary responsibilities will include administering respiratory therapy treatments, collaborating with healthcare teams, and ensuring adherence to best practices and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures as prescribed.
• Monitor and assess patient progress, adjusting treatments as necessary.
• Collaborate with medical and nursing staff to optimize patient care.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care and disease management.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the EMR system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1+ year of acute care hospital experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required.
• Must be willing to float to other units as needed.
• Permanent address must be over 50 miles from the facility.
