MS/Tele Registered Nurse - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3x12-Hour Night Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, every other weekend required.

Job Description

The MS/Tele Registered Nurse will provide critical care to adult and geriatric patients within a community hospital setting. The role requires a strong understanding of telemetry, charge experience preferred, and competency in various tele metrics and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and manage patient care as per hospital protocols.
• Monitor cardiac telemetry and respond to changes in patient conditions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records using the Epic charting system.
• Assess and respond to emergency situations in a timely manner, using rapid response protocols as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of nursing experience in a similar role.
• SC RN license or Compact license is required prior to start.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS required; NIHSS preferred.
• Tele competency and experience managing dysrhythmias.
