Medical Surgical/Telemetry RN - Nights

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Medical Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) for a night shift contract position. The ideal candidate will have strong med/surg experience and the ability to float between like units with like patients as per facility needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a medical surgical and telemetry setting.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and manage dysrhythmias.
• Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Complete all assigned training modules and attend staff meetings as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of experience, specifically in Med/Surg.
• Current RN license in South Carolina or a Compact license.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required.
• Telemetry experience, including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias preferred.
• Previous travel nursing experience is mandatory.
