MS/Tele Registered Nurse

3x12-hour shifts, Days, from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM.

Job Description

The MS/Tele Registered Nurse provides patient care in a community hospital setting, focusing on telemetry and medical-surgical nursing. The RN will be responsible for managing care for patients, ensuring they receive appropriate assessments, medications, and interventions.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients on medical-surgical and telemetry units.
• Monitor vital signs and interpret telemetry readings.
• Administer medications and IV therapies as prescribed.
• Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary teams.
• Educate patients and families on health management and disease prevention.
• Document patient care accurately and timely.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical-surgical or telemetry nursing role.
• South Carolina RN License or Compact License is required prior to start.
• Certifications in BLS and ACLS are required; NIH certification is preferred.
• Telemetry competency required; previous charge experience is preferred.
