Job Description

The Registered Nurse provides optimal patient care utilizing knowledge and skills within the context of the nursing process. The RN is accountable for individualized patient outcomes over the entire episode of care, offering comprehensive nursing services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, including their families and caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for a diverse population.
• Diagnose and treat human responses to health problems.
• Coordinate care between other healthcare professionals as needed.
• Meet age-specific competency standards for the population served.
• Engage families or caregivers in the assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation processes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have 2 years of Medical Surgical experience.
• NV RN license required prior to start.
• BLS (AHA) certification required.
