Physical Therapist - Acute Care

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with potential for extended hours on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team in an inpatient acute care setting. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, develop individualized treatment plans, and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment protocols and home exercise programs.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the patient's electronic health record.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute care setting.
• Current Physical Therapy license in the state of Pennsylvania.
• BLS certification required.
