Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse

Schedule

Days, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM; 4/10's shifts with on-call as required.

Job Description

As an Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in patient care by collaborating with a multidisciplinary health care team. You will assess patients' mental, physical, and spiritual needs and develop individualized plans of care. Your nursing judgment will be essential in recognizing and reporting changes in patient conditions, and you will provide necessary explanations and instructions to patients and responsible parties.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care.
• Provide explanations and instructions to patients and their families.
• Utilize clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient conditions.
• Contribute to a healthy workplace environment through professional communication skills.
• Meet Core Measure responsibilities related to patient care.
• Participate in continuing education and maintain accurate medical records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Illinois Registered Nurse license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• Proficiency in moderate sedation required.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
