Registered Respiratory Therapist - Acute Care and Peds Experience Preferred

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide exceptional care in a dynamic hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have experience with both adult and pediatric populations, particularly in NICU/PICU environments, and be ready to handle acute and critical care situations.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and therapies to patients of various ages.
• Monitor and assess patient responses to therapy and adjust treatments as necessary.
• Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement respiratory care plans.
• Utilize specialized equipment such as ventilators, oxygen delivery systems, and airway management devices.
• Conduct assessments in critical care and emergency departments.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• Current RRT licensure required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• NRP certification for NICU experience preferred.
• Experience in a tertiary teaching hospital environment is highly desirable.
