Registered Nurse - Emergency Department (Nights)

Job Description

This position requires a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality patient care within the Emergency Department. The RN will apply the nursing process, educate patients and significant others, document patient care, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to effectively coordinate overall patient care.

Responsibilities

• Implement the nursing process in accordance with the Oregon State Board of Nursing.
• Educate patients and their families about health management and care plans.
• Document all aspects of patient care accurately in medical records.
• Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Recent acute care hospital experience within the past two years (required).
• Minimum of two years of experience in an Emergency Department (required).
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, TNCC, and PALS (required).
• Must possess an Oregon RN license or be willing to obtain one.

Schedule

This position involves a 12-hour night shift, totaling 36 hours per week. An on-call schedule will be determined by the facility, with weekends included based on the facility's needs.
