Registered Nurse - Cath Lab Procedures

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing exceptional care to patients undergoing sterile catheterization lab procedures. This role includes educating patients on discharge instructions and ensuring adherence to x-ray precautions.

Responsibilities

• Perform sterile catheterization procedures in the lab.
• Educate patients regarding post-procedure care and discharge instructions.
• Maintain compliance with x-ray safety protocols.
• Provide Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid Nursing License (Nursys).
• ACLS and BLS certification required.
• Knowledge of sterile procedures and patient care protocols in a cath lab setting.
• Proof of immunizations: COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap, TB Test.
• Completion of Prime Core Competencies Exam and Skills Checklist.
