Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

The shift is 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, working three 12-hour shifts per week, with every other weekend and holidays at hospital discretion. A 30-minute lunch break is included.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) for our 60-bed post-acute inpatient care hospital. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients while effectively collaborating with other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and coordinate patient care activities.
• Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Monitor and document patients’ progress and vital signs.
• Educate patients and families about health management and care plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Previous experience in a medical-surgical setting is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
