Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Schedule

This position requires a 12-hour night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, totaling 36 hours per week.

Job Description

Join our team in the Birthing Suite, where we prioritize individualized care for every patient during their unique birthing experience. We offer a variety of birthing options, including natural childbirth and full epidural anesthesia, with personalized nursing care available 24/7. Our dedicated staff ensure comfort, caring, and medical expertise throughout labor.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 nursing care during active labor and 1:2/3 for Mother-Baby care.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and respond to any complications.
• Assist in various birthing options as chosen by the patient.
• Collaborate with physicians and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Labor and Delivery / OB required.
• Fetal monitoring experience is essential.
• Previous travel experience is highly preferred.
• Current certifications in BLS (AHA), AWHONN, and NRP are required at the time of submission.
• STABLE certification is highly preferred.
• Valid nursing license in New Hampshire required.
