Ambulatory Infusion Center RN

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Ambulatory Infusion Center. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care to individuals with various diagnoses including Oncology, MS, GI, Neuro, Transplant, and Obstetrics. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment while delivering essential treatments to patients.

Responsibilities

• Administer infusion treatments including emergency treatment for reactions, iron, and medications for MS, GI, Neuro, and Transplant conditions.
• Manage and care for central lines, PICC lines, and other access devices.
• Monitor patients during treatments, ensuring comfort and addressing any complications.
• Document patient assessments and treatment outcomes accurately in the charting system.
• Provide patient education regarding treatment processes and home care.

Schedule

This is a 4x10 hour day shift position, from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. There are no weekend or holiday shifts required.

Location

Mid-June start required to cover a Leave of Absence.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in an infusion center or related field.
• BLS certification required; REMS training will be provided for Tysabri administration.
• Active compact RN license; travel candidates must have been separated for at least 3 months from their previous facility.
