Night shift, 4x12-hour schedule (18:30 - 07:00)

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide specialized care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) during night shifts. This position is ideal for candidates who have at least 1 year of experience and are comfortable with both travel assignments and potential floating across units.

Responsibilities

• Managed patient care with a focus on critically ill adults.
• Assisted with chest tube insertion/removal and arterial line management.
• Administered blood products and managed ventilated patients.
• Provided care for patients with multi-system organ dysfunction/failure.
• Performed phlebotomy and managed IV sedation protocols.
• Communicated effectively with inter-disciplinary teams, including respiratory and social services.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of ICU nursing experience.
• Current NM or Compact RN License (pending applications accepted).
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
• Experience with patient ratios of 1:2 in an ICU setting.
