Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nights

This position requires a night shift schedule of 3x12 hours, from 18:30 to 07:00.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at a leading healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of ICU experience and will be required to float to other units as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care for a ratio of 1:2.
• Perform advanced nursing procedures, including arterial line management, central line care, and ventilator management.
• Administer medications and blood products as necessary.
• Assist with the insertion and removal of chest tubes.
• Monitor and interpret vital signs and lab results, including arterial blood gases.
• Participate in rapid response teams and interdisciplinary support services.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an ICU setting.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• NIHSS certification preferred.
• Current NM license or a pending compact license accepted.
