Job Description

The MRI Technologist will be responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures on patients in a clinical setting, ensuring the highest quality images are produced while maintaining patient safety and comfort. Technologists will be expected to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, following established protocols and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans and maintain equipment.
• Position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other medical staff to discuss imaging findings.
• Maintain patient records and document procedures accurately in the electronic charting system.
• Adhere to safety and infection control policies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current BLS certification.
• ARRT certification in MRI.
• Experience with imaging technology including GE, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba systems preferred.
• Ability to work with various patient age groups from young adults to older adults.
