RN - Orthopedic/Telemetry - Days

Weekend Dayshift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced RN to join our Orthopedic/Telemetry unit. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care to patients with orthopedic conditions, including joint replacements and fractures.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care for orthopedic patients, focusing on joint replacements and fractures.
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to deliver quality patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes to the charge nurse.
• Assist with patient mobility and activities of daily living.
• Document patient care activities using the EPIC charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have strong orthopedic experience, particularly in total joint replacement.
• BLS Certification is required.
• A valid nursing license and proof of residency outside of 50 miles from the facility.
• Previous permanent candidates must have been away for at least 2 years.
• Travelers who have previously worked for one full year must also be gone for 2 years.
