Physical Therapist - Days 8 Hours
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to evaluate, rehabilitate, and develop appropriate care plans for patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care. This role requires adherence to regulatory and clinical practice standards while utilizing standardized assessments and evidence-based practices to support effective clinical interventions.
Responsibilities
- Screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients, developing a tailored plan of care.
- Utilize evidence-based practice to administer various rehabilitation procedures.
- Assess patient progress and modify treatments as needed, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, and service providers regarding physical disorders.
- Document all treatment provided and maintain accurate patient records in the electronic documentation system.
- Participate in patient care conferences and required team meetings.
- Supervise and support physical therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, and students.
- Adhere to APTA guidelines and state practice acts throughout professional practice.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 1 year of Physical Therapy experience, with Level II clinical experience accepted for new graduates.
- Experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) or rehabilitation settings is required.
- Active Oklahoma State Physical Therapist license is mandatory.
Schedule
This position offers 8-hour day shifts with no on-call or weekend hours required.
