Job Description

Join our dynamic team in the Labor and Delivery unit, where you will be part of a highly skilled team providing exceptional care to mothers and their newborns. This role requires a self-starter who can work independently while supporting fellow teammates in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform vaginal and cesarean deliveries.
• Assist in high-risk obstetric cases.
• Monitor and assess maternal and fetal well-being.
• Conduct procedures such as D&C, hysterectomy, PP tubal ligation, cerclage placement, and versions.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) effectively for patient documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications.
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (FM) or AWHONN certification is required.
• Experience with Meditech EMR preferred.
• PACU and OR experience are advantageous.
