Ultrasound Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations using ultrasound equipment, providing quality patient care, and ensuring efficient workflow within the imaging department.

Schedule

This position requires availability for a shift from 07:00 AM to 03:30 PM.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations on patients as prescribed by physicians.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during procedures.
• Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment to guarantee accurate imaging.
• Document and report findings to the medical staff in a timely manner.
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Completion of an accredited ultrasound technology program.
• Current certification and state licensure required for ultrasound technologists.
• Experience in a clinical environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulations in imaging.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
