Laboratory Supervisor

Job Description

Under the direction of the Laboratory Manager and Laboratory Medical Director, the Laboratory Supervisor oversees the day-to-day operations of laboratory personnel engaged in performing chemical, microscopic, and bacteriologic tests. The role ensures adherence to quality control protocols, assists in maintaining laboratory equipment, and supports the Manager in overseeing staffing, training, and compliance with state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of lab personnel and testing procedures.
• Ensure adherence to quality control protocols and regulations.
• Assist in the maintenance of laboratory equipment.
• Support staffing and training initiatives within the laboratory.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have BLS certifications through the American Heart Association, attached to the candidate submission.
• A minimum of a high school diploma and either a graduation from a MT or CLS training program approved by ABHES, CAHEA, or another organization approved by HHS.
• ASCP certification is required, attached to the submission.
• Minimum of 3 years recent experience in a laboratory supervisory role.

Schedule

Shifts will be Monday to Friday, from 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Candidates will be responsible for covering both the Lander & Riverton campuses.
