Travel Med Surg RN - Night Shift

Schedule

Nights, 7 PM - 7:30 AM, including every other weekend. Floating/call required, though rarely needed.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Travel Med Surg RN to provide exceptional care in a general medical-surgical unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing patient care, including post-operative orthopedic and general surgical patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a medical-surgical setting, including MS overflow and step-down patients.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions continuously.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
• Participate in patient education and support.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of Med Surg RN experience required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Must have an active RN license in the state of New Mexico.
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR and Mindray Telemetry System is preferred.
