RN Med Surg - Nights

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night 3x12-Hour shifts from 18:30 to 07:00, with options for 36 or 48 hours. Requires 6 weekend shifts within a 6-week period.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Med Surge unit during night shifts. The RN will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment, adhering to safety protocols and standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to assigned patients.
• Monitor patient progress and document care in the Epic charting system.
• Participate in rapid response team activations as necessary.
• Administer medications and blood products as prescribed.
• Manage wounds and provide necessary patient education.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of recent Med Surg RN experience.
• Current BCLS certification required; CPI preferred.
• Ability to float to like units as needed.
