Travel Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Schedule

Night shift from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM.

Job Description

The Travel Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Room (ER) holds shift accountability for providing care to patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures. The RN will demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning for safe delivery of care in the Emergency Department.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Utilize the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and scientific judgment in patient care.
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
• Delegate patient care priorities and provide direction/supervision of assigned personnel.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of ER RN experience.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.
